In Romans 5, the Apostle Paul points to the cross of Christ as a demonstration of God’s love.
Cleopas and his companion were looking for redemption without the cross. They never found it. Instead the risen Christ taught them to see his cross and resurrection in the lives and writings of the prophets.

Jesus committed his spirit to the care of his Father, trusting that he would be raised. We, also, may commit ourselves to the care of the Father and be confident we will be received into paradise and then raised on the last day. Pastor Hinkle explains why.
